How to use

Apply liberally at least 15 min before sun exposure. If you apply any sunscreen after you’ve already been in the sun for a bit, the sunscreen is not as effective.

We recommend that you reapply every 80 minutes if golfing or sweating because thats the right thing to do. However we know thats not real life. Thats why we specifically engineered this stuff to really stay put. Just check out some of our reviews!

Is this stuff face or body sunscreen? How do I use it?

The short answer is you can use it anywhere. burnd is gentle enough to use on your face but powerful enough to protect your entire body.

Is it actually water resistant?

Yes, yes it it. We specifically engineered this sunscreen to really stay put, even in the harshest of environments (or just going to the beach).

But don't just take our word for it, look at our reviews!

Does it dry clear on the skin?

Yes *as long as you apply within reason* If you use sunscreen like a normal person, you’ll be in the clear. If you’re cosplaying as a cupcake with a frosting fetish, you’re gonna be left with some white streaks.

Is burnd toxin-free?

Toxin-free" is marketing language designed to scare you into buying products.

Is it going to give me acne?

burnd was made with sensitive skin in mind. Unlike most sunscreens on the market, our formula was specially design to protect your skin WITHOUT clogging pores.

That being said you’re always vulnerable to irritating your skin if you decide to put some sort of foreign cream on it. So no, it should not cause acne but if you have any problems, just let us know and we will completely refund your money.

Can I apply makeup over the sunscreen?

Yes, and it actually works really well. This is a happy and unintended byproduct of using silicone—the sunscreen won’t mix into or disrupt your makeup. You can put the sunscreen on before or after you craft those perfect contours.

Can I use burnd on my kids?

Our formula’s founder is actually a pediatrician by training and designed the formula to be gentle enough for his toddler and wife.

Dude... where has this been all my life!!

I never write reviews, I'm not an influencer, literally nobody asked me to come here and write this. BEST. SUNSCREEN. EVER. My (sensitive) skin loves the stuff, it's not too oily or sticky, doesn't run into my eyes even with all day sweating/reapplying, and no white cast. I don't know what kind of magic they put into this stuff, but I loooove it!

A total game changer!

As a mom of three, including one very fair-skinned child, this is hands down the best sunscreen we’ve used. I’m also a swim instructor in Florida, so I spend hours a day in the pool and I’m extremely picky about sunscreen. Not only does it keep me protected, but it doesn’t make my super sensitive skin break out - which is rare for me.

I’ve never burned wearing it, even on long pool and beach days when reapplying doesn’t happen as often as it should. It goes on white enough to easily see where you’ve applied it, then the cast fades after a few minutes. It’s also the only sunscreen we’ve used that doesn’t end up dripping with sweat and burning our eyes - and if you’ve ever been in water with kids, you know what a game changer that is!

I even wear it when I’m not around the water. I started getting brown spots on the left side of my face just from driving, and this has helped so much. I can wear it under makeup without looking cakey or oily. If you’re on the fence, this one is WORTH IT!

Best Sunscreen

I work outside in South Florida, year round, this is the only sunscreen I’ve found that doesn’t feel like it immediately gets sweat off but it also feels so soft going on like it’s actually great skincare. I’ve been using it for almost a year now and there’s no turning back. 10 out of 10 product and it lasts. Buy it!!

I'm impressed

I've been using Burnd for 4 days... mostly on my face, and I am impressed. It is moisturizing without being greasy, is unscented, which I love, and I can then apply my regular makeup easily, knowing I now have sun protection. I cannot attest to its sun protection as it's too soon to know for sure, but I definitely feel safer taking my multiple walks with my dogs each day. I'm eager to experience the positive results of staying pale throughout the summer months... :)
