Yes, it’s a great body wash also. While it’s gentle enough for your face, it’s powerful enough to take on the rest of your body. If you’ve spent the day covered in makeup, sunscreen, whatever, it will get back to baseline without the "dish soap" feel.
Yes. We engineered burnd Cleanse specifically to gently remove sunscreens and makeup in a single wash. A specialized polymer and cleanser blend is designed to build large cleaning clusters that grab onto synthetic silicones, sunscreens and other grime but not to reach too deeply into the skin so that your natural oils are not stripped away.
Because "squeaky clean" is actually the sound of your skin crying for help. That feeling usually means you’ve stripped away your natural moisture barrier. We use a gentle cleaning complex, along with glycerine to attract moisture and some Saccharide Isomerate) that binds to your skin's keratin, ensuring you stay hydrated even after the grime is gone.

Absolutely. Our founder is a pediatrician who originally designed the burnd sunscreen formula for his own family. Similarly, Cleanse is good for the whole family.
We didn’t use the "tear-free" label because we didn’t yet do the actual test you need to make that claim. Having said that, it was formulated to tear free and are customers report zero stinging, even when scrubbing off heavy mascara or waterproof zinc. Still, no need to put it directly into your eyes!
Sunscreen is for applying generously; cleanser is for applying effectively. A dimed sized dab amount is plenty for your face and you can even experiment with a little less. If you’re washing your whole body after a day at the beach, use what you need (the 3.4 oz tube is travel-friendly but goes a long way.)
